Delos & Rhenia Discovery

Owner’s Tip: whatever else you do on Mykonos, don’t miss visiting the neighbouring island a mere 30 minutes by boat that will transport you to a different universe.

As a native of Mykonos, Delos is a place I have never tired of returning to time and again. The mythological birthplace of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Evidence of habitation dates back to the 3rd millennium BC on this little island which was a very important religious centre from the 9th Century BC and for almost one thousand years. From 478 BC, it hosted the treasury of the Delian League before it was removed to the Acropolis in Athens and Delos turned into a thriving port of world trade from the 4th Century BC onwards. A museum among the ruins of the ancient city contains the most important artefacts unearthed during ongoing excavations.

Leaving Myconian Kyma at noon, you will swim and snorkel around Rhenia and enjoy a grilled on-board barbeque lunch before heading to Delos around 5:30pm, a time of day at which few visitors choose to visit the island. Walk through the ancient city in the company of a certified private guide as the sun sets over its marble ruins. And on your return to Mykonos Town around 8pm with champagne in hand, just when you thought it couldn’t get more magical, Chora will light up its glittering night mantle.

You may choose to spend a full moon night of unforgettable romance on board, dropping anchor off a secluded beach and enjoying a sunrise yoga session before setting off with a breakfast picnic to discover Delos that you may have all to yourself, before the rest of the world awakens. We do our utmost to make anything that is even remotely possible, a reality.

Flying high

Take to the skies by helicopter ride and survey the amazing blue expanse of the Aegean Sea and the neighbouring Cycladic islands.

Fly over the island baked by the sun and dotted with whitewashed houses, out across to Delos and Rhenia and then towards Tinos, Paros and Naxos which each have their own character although they are only a few nautical miles from one another.

In a little under an hour, you will have seen our islands like a bird, from a perspective to which not even the locals are privy.

Cook with our Chef

Owner’s Tip: The celebrated Myconian tradition of hospitality finds its highest expression in welcoming a guest to our kitchen.

Join our chef Panagiotis Tsoukatos on his morning run to choose fresh organic vegetables at the local market and from our exclusive suppliers, as well as select the fresh day’s catch straight off the boats. Set aside time in the afternoon to enjoy a private Mediterranean cooking class.

The kitchen is one of my favourite parts of the hotel and I may even drop in to learn a few tricks.

Share the resulting culinary collaboration with your partner or family that evening, accompanied by a special Greek vintage on the house, selected by our sommelier to accompany your ‘home-cooked’ feast’.

Fine Dining

Celebrate your first evening on Mykonos savouring regional flavours and rare vintages by booking a spectacular candlelit dinner under the stars at Noa Greek Restaurant.

Noa combines culinary heritage and contemporary innovation to create haute cuisine, with rich Mediterranean flavours and appetising aromas that come into their own with the finest farm-to-table ingredients, grown, reared or fished exclusively for Kyma and meticulously selected by our executive chef.

Your experience of the subtle flavours is completed by an elegant ambience and setting of great natural splendour, with full-height bay windows taking in striking views of the Aegean and Mykonos town.
